Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

A giraffe in pants that feels straight out of a playful sketchbook, where logic takes a back seat and charm runs the show.

This handmade product is crocheted by displaced Syrian and Lebanese women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support refugee women's income and children's education in Lebanon, as well as malnutrition screening and treatment for on both sides of the Syrian-Lebanese border.

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi technique with cotton and acrylic yarn and stuffed with cotton.
