Crocheted by conflict-affected Syrian & Lebanese women in Lebanon

This plush alpaca figurine comes in a bright cinnabar colored saddle or earthy brown saddle. A fair trade gift made with cotton-based amigurumi materials. 

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon, and maternal and child health in Syria. 

 

Size: 5.5"H x 3.5"W x 5"L

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi technique with cotton and acrylic string, stuffed with cotton. Eyes embroidered (no beads).
