Crocheted by conflict-affected Syrian & Lebanese women in Lebanon
Gray boots, a proud little stance, and a colorful saddle that brings the whole look together, this crocheted alpaca has plenty of personality packed into a small frame. Handmade stitch by stitch, it is the kind of cheerful companion that stands out on a nursery shelf, desk, or gift table.
This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon, and maternal and child health in Syria.
