Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Part egg, part tiny animal, these playful crochet charms turn familiar springtime favorites into pocket-sized characters. Choose from three bunny designs, a squinting mouse, or a chick with lashes, each shaped like a little egg and finished with its own expression and personality. Crocheted by hand using the amigurumi technique, they make fun additions to bags, baskets, seasonal displays, or small gift bundles.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugees and vulnerable local women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International funds its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for refugee children in Lebanon, and malnutrition treatment in Syria. 

 

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi technique with cotton and acrylic yarn, stuffed with cotton.
