His full white beard and simple stitched features give him that familiar folk-tale charm, while the unexpected color combination makes him feel like a character all his own. Handmade in the amigurumi style, he’s a compact little gnome with plenty of personality.

This handmade amigurumi product is crocheted by war-affected Syrian and Lebanese women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, who have been trained to crochet through Refugee Protection International's creative partnership with Multi Aid Programs. Proceeds support women's livelihoods, as well as schools and health care for children recovering from conflict.
