Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Clover looks like she dressed for a garden party and fully understood the assignment. Her ruffled skirt, matching little buttons, striped legs, and oversized feet give her a playful dressed-up look, while the long neck and happy stitched smile keep her unmistakably goofy in the best way. She feels cheerful, polished, and just a little bit mischievous.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for refugee children in Lebanon, and maternal and child health in Syria.
