Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Dottie looks like she came dressed for sunshine. Her bright ruffled skirt, striped top, and oversized feet give her plenty of bounce, while the gray accents keep the whole look balanced. She has that cheerful giraffe energy that feels equal parts playful, polished, and ready to twirl into trouble.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for refugee children in Lebanon, and maternal and child health in Syria.

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi method with cotton-acrylic thread and stuffed with cotton.
