Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Felix looks like he has somewhere important to be, even if he has no idea where. The tiny bow tie and suspenders give him a wonderfully dressed-up look, while the long neck, oversized feet, and cheerful stitched smile keep things playful. He has just enough polish to look proper and just enough goofiness to make the whole outfit work.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support refugee women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon, and maternal and child health in Syria.

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi style with cotton and acrylic string, stuffed with cotton.
