Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Lola came ready to twirl. Her ruffled pink tutu, striped top, and long lashes give her the look of a tiny ballerina who has absolutely claimed center stage. The long giraffe neck and oversized feet keep things wonderfully goofy, so she lands somewhere between graceful dancer and lovable class clown.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for refugee children in Lebanon, and maternal and child health in Syria.

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi method with cotton-acrylic thread and stuffed with cotton.
