Gray Horse with Flowing Mane – Crochet Plush Animal

Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

The long gray mane is what gives this horse its character, falling loosely along the neck instead of being braided or tightly styled. A brown saddle and dark brown bridle add warm contrast against the gray body, while the full tail keeps the look natural and balanced. Handmade in the amigurumi style, it has the feel of a familiar stable horse recreated with soft crochet texture and simple, well-defined details.

This handmade product is crocheted by refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon and maternal and child health care for conflict-affected women and children in Syria.
