Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

This horse keeps things simple in the best way. Its warm beige body, steady stance, and clean crochet detailing give it the feel of a classic stable companion without extra fuss. At 6 inches tall and 8 inches long, it has enough presence to stand out while still keeping the soft, handmade character of amigurumi.

This handmade product is crocheted by refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon and maternal and child health care for conflict-affected women and children in Syria.
