This little llama came dressed for the occasion. With sturdy gray boots, a bright red-and-amber saddle, and a proudly upright pose, it brings just the right amount of color and character to any shelf, nursery, or gift collection. Handmade using the amigurumi crochet technique, each one has subtle variations that make it entirely its own.
This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon, and maternal and child health in Syria.
