Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Same wild spirit as her sister, but this mermaid came dressed; a floral hair accessory crowning her head in a color combination entirely her own. Twelve top and tail combinations to choose from, each one unique, each one arrived with a personality already fully formed. The mermaid that knows exactly who she is and isn't changing for anyone.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for children, and humanitarian programs for the war-affected Syrian community.

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi technique with cotton and acrylic yarn and stuffed with cotton.
