Narwhal 'Timid' - Brilliant Arctic Blue - Crochet Plush Charm

Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Timid looks like he wants to say hello, but might need a minute first. His raised brows, tiny smile, and wide embroidered eyes give him an adorably hesitant expression, while the round body and little side fins keep him soft and playful. The golden tusk adds just enough confidence to a narwhal who otherwise seems perfectly happy hanging back and observing the room.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support refugee women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon, and malnutrition treatment in Syria.

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi style with cotton and acrylic yarn, stuffed with cotton.
