A good luck symbol in Nordic culture, this crocheted plush farmstead gnome is inspired by Norway and Denmark's Nisse, Sweden's Tomte, and Finland's Tontte gonk. May be enjoyed year-round or as seasonal holiday décor. 

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods and non-formal primary schools for refugee children in Lebanon, along with maternal and child health in communities recovering from conflict in northeast Syria.
