This rooster looks like he has somewhere important to strut off to. His long green tail feathers, tiny trousers, and upright stance give him a funny little sense of purpose, while the orange feet and dark red comb keep the whole look lively. Handmade in the amigurumi style, he is equal parts farmyard character and tiny scene-stealer.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon, and malnutrition treatment in Syria.

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi technique with cotton and acrylic yarn, stuffed with cotton.
