Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

A stocking, shrunk down to charm size. Crocheted with bold blocks of red, white, and jade green, each version has its own playful contrast, from jade with a red heel and toe to classic red-and-white combinations. A slim hanging loop makes it easy to add to a tree, tie onto a present, or work into a festive display.

This handmade product is crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon, where Refugee Protection International supports its refugee-led partner, Multi Aid Programs, to train women in their craft. Proceeds support the women's livelihoods and non-formal primary schools for refugee children in Lebanon, along with maternal and child health in communities recovering from conflict in northeast Syria. 

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi method with cotton and acrylic string, stuffed with cotton.
