Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Rowan is easily the boldest dresser in the woodland crew. A vivid rose hat and bright azure shirt give him a lively, almost storybook-hero look, while the soft pink pants keep the palette playful. His oversized ears, arched brows, and tiny stitched neck detail add just enough attitude to make him feel like a character with a plan.

This handmade product is crocheted by war-affected Syrian and Lebanese women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, through Refugee Protection International's creative partnership with Multi Aid Programs. Proceeds support women's livelihoods, as well as schools and nutrition for children recovering from conflict in the region.

Material: Each item is lovingly crocheted using the amigurumi technique with cotton and acrylic string, stuffed with cotton.
