Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

Silas looks like the curious one of the bunch, with wide eyes, oversized ears, and a chartreuse hat that makes him impossible to miss. His light gray shirt is dotted with small yellow stitched accents, while the deep berry pants add a richer contrast below. The unusual color mix gives him a quirky woodland personality that feels playful without looking too bright.

This handmade product is crocheted by war-affected Syrian and Lebanese women in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, through Refugee Protection International's creative partnership with Multi Aid Programs. Proceeds support women's livelihoods, as well as schools and nutrition for children recovering from conflict in the region.
