Zebra Crochet Plush - With Mane

Crocheted by Syrian refugee women in Lebanon

This crochet plush zebra reminds us that baby zebras often have longer, shaggier manes than do their parents. They may also be born with sand brown or reddish brown (warm taupe) coloring, which darkens over time toward a classic black and white, while their mane shortens over time. 

This handmade item is crocheted by Syrian refugee women trained in their craft with our funding and refugee-led training partner Multi Aid Programs. Proceeds support women's livelihoods, non-formal primary schools for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon, and humanitarian programs for their war-affected community in Lebanon and Syria.
